Welcome to the online home of the Jewish Learning Experience.  The JLE this year celebrates its twenty-second anniversary as a unique, independent outreach and education organization in Bergen County New Jersey dedicated to reacquainting Jewish adults with their religious heritage.

The JLE provides an array of classes, educational & experiential programs and explanatory services related to Shabbat and holidays in a warm, non-threatening environment in which questions are encouraged.  Regardless of your background, you can become part of a dynamic learning group.  Knowledge of Hebrew or of the Bible is not necessary.

We can also offer programming tailored to individual needs, including home hospitality and One-on-One Learning!

IT’S NEVER TOO LATE!
Are you well educated secularly and prepared for your career? Do you feel the same way about your Jewish education? If you missed out in your youth, the opportunity to catch up presents itself now. No specific Judaic background is required. The classes are designed to be enriching and meaningful for all Jews regardless of background and affiliation (or lack thereof.) Attendees ranging in age from young adults to seniors are welcome.

The cost of a sponsorship is $18.  Remember that while honoring your loved one, you will also be assisting the JLE to spread the light of Torah to hundreds of homes and thus strengthen the Jewish People.
